INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) - Four residents and three animals were displaced Saturday morning after an apartment fire broke out on the 2500 block of Fox Harbour Court.
The Indianapolis Fire Department responded to the apartment fire shortly after 9:30 a.m. One resident noticed smoke coming from his apartment unit and immediately called 911.
Fire crews arrived to the scene and had the fire under control within 20 minutes.
Due to extensive damage of two apartment units, four residents and three pets were displaced.
The apartment leasing manager and IFD Victims Assistance unit are working to find residents shelter for the day.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
There were no injuries reported.
