Yoel Romero has been building like a hurricane in the Gulf, and he is certainly facing a formidable opponent in Ronny Markes. The key for Romero will be keeping his back off the cage and the canvas. Considering that Romero has defeated arguably the greatest American wrestler of the last 30 years, he certainly has the wrestling ability to put Markes at a disadvantage. The other thing Romero has is considerable power, and while he is still young in his MMA career, that can make up for a lot when paired with his wrestling. Expect this bout to turn into a grappling match instigated by Markes, but Romero has the ability to negate his usual advantage and can make this a frustrating fight for the Brazilian.
