TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Ian Hummer had 25 points and 15 rebounds and Douglas Davis had 25 points ? including a pair of 3-pointers in the third overtime ? as Princeton outlasted Florida State 75-73 on Friday night.
The Seminoles trailed by 17 at the half but stormed back to tie the game at 47. Florida State had its chances to win, including Bernard James' missed free-throw attempt with the game tied at 53 with 1.8 seconds left in the first overtime.
The Seminoles made just 11 of 22 free-throw attempts in Florida State's first triple-overtime game in program history.
Denton Koon added seven points and 10 rebounds for Princeton (7-7).
Michael Snaer scored 20 points and Ian Miller added 17 points for Florida State (8-5), which lost for the first time in eight home games this season.
The Seminoles scored 10 first-half points, breaking the mark for their worst first half in Tallahassee.
